As part of the “Get a Jump on Diabetes” Campaign,  Faith Community Nurses and Kroger Pharmacy will be providing free diabetes risk assessments for adults 65 or older to help older adults determine and reduce their risk for diabetes. Eligible candidates will be recommended to participate in the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program, which has been proven to help older adults reduce their risk of type II diabetes.
